Is Ellingwood Point easier than Little Bear Peak?

Generally yes. Ellingwood Point is often more approachable than Little Bear Peak, but it is still a high alpine objective that requires fitness, preparation, and good judgment.

Can we climb Blanca Peak on the same trip?

Yes. Blanca Peak is a natural linkup with Ellingwood Point, either on summit day or on the third day of the itinerary depending on conditions and team pace.

How many days should I plan?

Ellingwood Point can be done in one to three days. Camping the night before allows an early summit start, and a third day adds margin for weather or a Blanca Peak linkup.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. If conditions are too hazardous, we will try to reschedule around your availability, choose a different objective with better conditions, or keep the trip as a credit for future climbs.
