Who is the Crack Climbing Technique Clinic for?

This clinic is for climbers who want to feel more comfortable and efficient in cracks. It is a good fit for gym climbers, sport climbers, and newer trad climbers who want focused coaching on crack movement.

Do I need trad climbing experience or to place gear?

No, trad climbing experience is helpful, but not required. The clinic focuses on movement skills like jams, locks, footwork, body position, and rests rather than requiring you to lead gear protected routes.

Won't crack climbing tear up my skin?

Usually when you're just starting out you'll be less confident and your jams may slip. We'll show you how to prevent this as well as some good options for more sustained crack climbing like tape or crack gloves as a way to keep you climbing longer.
