What is the best time to visit Colorado Springs for climbing?

For most people it's generally pleasant weather between March and October but there are also a few warm climbable days in the other months. There is also ice climbing in the cold months between November and March.

Where do you ice climb in Colorado Springs?

North Cheyenne Canyon has a couple ice climbs that are good for beginners and climbers working on building skills for leading ice.

Should I fly into Denver or Colorado Springs?

Colorado Springs airport has direct flights from a variety of domestic airports and if it's your primary destination is a low key airport to get in and out of. Denver is often a connection anyways so may be worth considering if you have other destinations in mind.

Are the climbing areas free for the public?

Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Canyon are both free to the public.
