Do I need a timed entry reservation or parks pass?

Eldorado Canyon is a state park with an entrance station. Holidays and weekends between May and September require timed entry as well. Both can be purchased in advance here.

There is plenty of good beginner climbs. It's mostly a question of how hard you want to work. While walls like Supremacy Rock have a collection of easier routes many are farther up the West Ridge and require a bit of a hike. Eldorado Canyon primarily has a ton of classic beginner multipitch climbs that are suited to those who have a little bit of basic climbing experience.
