What is the best way to start Rewritten?

Rewritten has two starts that are commonly done. The Great Zot which, while being it's own route, is the most common way to start. It's a little harder but more easily protected. The historical start is just a couple feet left and they meet up near the top. With a bit more difficult protection but easier climbing either choice is a good option.

Is Rewritten a good beginner climb?

Eldorado Canyon has a lot of high quality beginner climbs. This isn't one I would necessarily put in that category. It requires confidence moving on highly exposed moves that will feel a little harder than 5.7. For climbers who are maybe less experienced but interested in a bigger climb something like Swanson's Arete is a better objective.

What is Rebuffat's Arete?

This is a variation of the 5th pitch that avoids a pretty boring gully that is out of character with the rest of the route. Instead you step right and climb an exposed arete to reach the final pitch to the top. Some people can be pretty tired at that point but if you've got the energy it is highly recommended.
