Max was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado, but it wasn’t until college that he discovered his passion for the outdoors. Originally pursuing a degree in computer science, he soon realized his heart was elsewhere and made the switch to outdoor education. He began working at his college’s rock wall and joined a student-led adventure program, guiding others on hiking, climbing, and backpacking trips. Since graduating, Max has continued to grow his skills through AMGA and PSIA courses, with the goal of sharing his love for the outdoors and creating unforgettable experiences for others.
