Growing up in Kentucky Kirt started with the overhanging sport routes of the Red River Gorge in the early 2000’s. He moved to Colorado in 2014 and quickly found his love for all big mountain sports. Kirt started guiding mountain biking and intro rock climbing in 2019 and is now an AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructor as well as an Apprentice Rock and Alpine Guide. With almost 20 years of climbing experience developing guest abilities in smaller terrain and then getting them onto bigger personal objectives is his specialty.
