"Sarah and I had an awesome time. We were both impressed by and appreciated the fact that you actually taught us some of the finer points of climbing, rather than just setting a rope and saying "there you go." -Mike, Wisconsin
"Thanks again for the rock climbing instructions at the Garden of the Gods last Tuesday. Both Nick and Zack have said time and time again that it was their favorite part of the vacation. All Zack talks about is how he wants to go to the camp next year to learn and climb some more. You showed him what he can do by getting up there with him and walking him through when he was having trouble. I still can not believe how he finished that last climb without hesitation while both Nick and I wanted to come down half way up (thanks for not letting us give up though). You are a true professional and if you ever have someone who want's to talk with someone who's done it before signing up please have them give me a call." E-Mail from Robert of Muscatine, Iowa
"Sarah and I had an awesome time. We were both impressed by and appreciated the fact that you actually taught us some of the finer points of climbing, rather than just setting a rope and saying "there you go." I was intending to write you a letter of recommendation as soon as I get caught up on things here." E-Mail from Mike of Greenfield, Wisconsin "I climbed with Colorado Climbing Co. in Garden of the Gods and I had a great experience. Pete was my guide and he took time to evaluate my prior experience and goals for the day and suggested climbs to match. Safety was, of course, the priority but he made sure I had fun as well. I will definitely climb with them again next time I am in Colorado!" TripAdvisor review from Melanie of Ardmore, Oklahoma
"Thanks for an awesome weekend of both climbing and learning! I now feel very confident I can go out and set up top rope anchors and sport climb on my own. The instruction was excellent and you were very accommodating with the rain and location change. I will definitely be recommending you all to people in the future!" "Hey Jeremiah! Thanks for an awesome time ice climbing this weekend. Rob and I had a great time. Thanks so much for your patience with me. You are great at what you do! Can't wait to see pix!" Facebook post from Ashley of Denver, Colorado
When guides became more prominent in the Alps in the late 1800's guides would keep a Führerbücher (a guide's journal or notebook). They would ask their guests to write down their experiences with their guide and so this served as a record of how those who had climbed with that guide felt about them as well as showed what they had guided or climbed and thus showed their abilities as a guide. In addition to their proof of certification guides were required to carry their Führerbücher. Because we want anyone who climbs with us to know what a great experience they will have ahead of time we always ask for feedback from those who have previously climbed with us. People come to Colorado from places all over the country and even other countries to climb with us. We make every effort to make sure your guided climbing trip or class leaves you with the desire to come back and climb in Colorado over and over with us. Below are just a few comments from some of our previous and repeat guests that serves as an abbreviated Führerbücher.
We are always looking to improve our services so if you'd like to add to our Führerbücher after climbing with us please tell us what you think about your climbing trip with us on places such as Google, Trip Advisor, or any other site you may use to review services.
