Originally hailing from Leadville, Colorado, Chad's first exposure to climbing was in 1980, sparking a passion that has endured for decades. Following a successful career in law enforcement, Chad rediscovered his love for the vertical world, finding particular joy in instructing others. As a father, Chad is especially passionate about working with kids, guiding them to discover their capabilities, overcome fears, and develop valuable life skills through climbing.
