"Sarah and I had an awesome time. We were both impressed by and appreciated the fact that you actually taught us some of the finer points of climbing, rather than just setting a rope and saying "there you go." -Mike, Wisconsin

Introduction to Ice Climbing Class
When temperatures drop and drips and seeps start to freeze Colorado becomes a winter playground. Because it takes place in colder temperatures and with more equipment there is a great benefit to learning from a guide. Learning how to use equipment is as important as learning the basic movements to climb efficiently. Since many of the skills covered in this course also apply to rock and alpine climbing it is a great way to learn many climbing skills from one course. These courses are offered in locations based on conditions. We guide ice in Cheyenne Canyon, Clear Creek Canyon, and Lake City. Please call and ask about conditions.
